Senior Citizens Associations' grant-awarding event
The grant-awarding event of the Senior Citizens Associations of Calvià, who carry out various activities in the respective centres, has taken place this morning. In the 2017-2018 academic year courses were offered related to physical activities (aquagym, tai-chi, yoga, gymnastics and dance), cultural and artistic activities, and other activities related to memory, cognitive stimulation, etc. The Llar de Calvià manages all these activities.
The event was attended by the presidents of the associations (in Calvià there are 11), as well as members of the municipal corporation. The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, accompanied by the deputy mayor for Social Cohesion, Nati Francés, and the councillor for Senior Citizens, M. Carmen Rojano, thanked them for the work they carry out.
