CALVIÀ ESTABLISHMENTS CAN REQUEST FROM TODAY A RECALCULATION OF THE RUBBISH TAX RATE
The productive sector of Calvià affected by the Covid-19 crisis can have a reduction of up to 50%
Hotels, shops, bars and restaurants that have been affected by the Covid-19 crisis may, from today, request a recalculation of the rubbish tax rate, which can represent up to a 50% reduction, as stated in the Calvià Municipal Plan for Social, Economic and Environmental Recovery signed on 15th June by all municipal political groups, hotel associations, major unions and associated offer associations.
Once the establishments have received the receipt that is issued at the beginning of the year and, therefore, includes the full amount, from today they will be able to request a recalculation at the Municipal Tax Office, by prior appointment, or online from 6th July.
They will be able to carry out this procedure until 16th November, since the Town Hall has extended the voluntary tax payment periord as a measure to facilitate compliance with tax obligations, which is also included in the Plan, as well as facilitating the tax payments fractioning.
