TAKING OFFICE OF 15 LOCAL POLICE OFFICERS IN CALVIÀ IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE WORKFORCE CONSOLIDATION PROCESS

With this second phase, 66 job posts will have been consolidated in 3 years

The second Calvià Local Police workforce consolidation process, which took place in Calvià Town Hall's plenary hall, ends today with the taking office of 15 police officers.

This is the second extraordinary workforce consolidation process in the Local Police of Calvià, after 51 police officers were consolidated in a first call in 2019. With this initiative, promoted by the Government of the Balearic Islands in all municipalities, through the EBAP, a total of 66 job posts will have been consolidated in the Calvià Local Police, thus reducing the workforce temporariness rate by up to 19%.

At the moment, in addition, the Town Hall is carrying out a process of providing 18 new Local Police job posts in Calvià, to cover vacancies due to retirements. With these actions, the police force is reinforced in addition to rejuvenating the staff.

The taking office ceremony was attended by the mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal; the deputy mayor of Police, Nati Francés; the deputy mayor for General Services, Juan Recasens, and the Calvià Local Police chief, Francisco Darder.
