A NEW EDITION OF MOSTRA DE CUINES DE TARDOR DE CALVIÀ BEGINS WITH AN INCREASED PARTICIPATION OF RESTAURANTS IN THE MUNICIPALITY
It will take place on Friday 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd October in establishments located in different areas of Calvià

A new edition of Mostra de Cuines de Tardor de Calvià begins on Friday 1st October and it will take place during four consecutive Fridays in October, in different areas of the municipality.
This year, the participation of the establishments has increased. Specifically, 41 restaurants will offer a complete menu at popular prices, of 14 or 16 euros. The restaurants will offer their menus at lunchtime, evening or both, while some will also offer a children's, alternative, gluten-free or vegetarian menu. In addition, about 50% will give the possibility of collecting the meal at the premises to eat it at home.
Of the 41 participating restaurants, 7 do so for the first time, and most of them do so after having participated in the Pasta Party of the Half Marathon Magaluf, which this year has had a very similar format to the Mostra de Cuines one.
On Friday 1st October, the Mostra will take place in the areas of Illetes, Cas Català, Bendinat and Son Caliu; on 8th, in Palmanova, Magaluf and Son Ferrer; on Friday 15th it will be held in Santa Ponça and Costa de la Calma; and on 22nd, in Peguera, Cala Fornells, el Toro and es Capdellà.
It is an annual event, which is held in spring and autumn, that is, at the beginning and end of the season, that gives prominence to the gastronomy that is made in Calvià and visibility to the restaurants in the municipality, thus helping to maintain and boost economy in the municipality.
