IFOC- Personnel selection process in companies

THE IFOC EMPLOYMENT AGENCY LAUNCHES THE 2022 SELECTION DAYS AIMED AT COVERING JOBS IN COMPANIES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CALVIÀ

The experience of the 2017 and 2019 Job Fairs confirms the need to offer personalised personnel selection campaigns, aimed at companies in the municipality

On Thursday 24th February, the Calvià Town Hall, through the IFOC Employment Agency (Employment and Training Institute of Calvià), will carry out the first of the Selection Days, to cover 25 jobs between different job posts (guest relations, household manager assistant, head chef, head chef assistant, confectioner, cook, barman, waiter/waitress, waiter's assistants, chambermaid, receptionists, reception assistants and bellboy).

Throughout the months of March, April and May, six new selection days are planned with various companies in the municipality, including a Hotel Resort & Spa, which offers 154 jobs. At the moment, all these companies represent, for the municipality of Calvià, the hiring of 221 jobs and 24 different professional profiles within tourism and restaurants, management facilitated through labour intermediation carried out by the IFOC Employment Agency.

The IFOC intends to offer and extend this service to all interested companies, which can apply for staff through the employment platform www.ifoc.es/contigo through a very simple and fast online process.

On the other hand, all those people searching for a job and willing to participate in the selection days, will have to register for the offers, on the aforementioned website www.ifoc.es/contigo. If there is any person not registered in the employment platform, on this same website he or she will be able to enter their CV and participate in the selection processes.

Once the people have registered in the offers in which they meet the requested requirements, the IFOC employment team will summon them to pre-selection group interviews. Those who pass this group session will conduct a final interview directly with the company.

With this methodology, a greater degree of labour insertion is achieved, since it allows a better adjustment of the job interests of the candidates with the personnel needs of the companies, since the IFOC will only send to the final interview those people who successfully pass the group interviews.

These days are carried out through a 1 to 1 system. That is, a day of interviews dedicated exclusively to the selection of personnel for a specific company, which will be in charge of carrying out the final interviews in the Sala Palmanova or in the IFOC facilities.
