II CALVIÀ ENVIRONMENTAL AWARDS CALL
Terms and conditions of the call
The terms and conditions of the Calvià Environmental Awards second edition call, which publicly recognise the work, efforts and commitment of society to the environment, sustainability, environmental education and the promotion of biodiversity in the municipality of Calvià, have now been published.
Applications can be submitted until 30th November. Will be eligible all those foundations, NGOs, educational centres and associations that have distinguished themselves by carrying out a project or activity in the municipality of Calvià throughout the year 2022 related to caring for the environment, the fight against climate change and sustainability and the promotion and study of biodiversity.
A first prize of 4.000 euros, a second prize of 3.000 euros, and four third prizes of 2.000 euros will be awarded, for each of the following categories: best environmental restoration and/or cleanup performance, best research study related to biodiversity and/or climate change, best environmental awareness and education action, and best action to promote sustainability, circular economy, waste reduction and/or recycling.
