Universal Declaration of Human Rights Commemoration with Amnesty International of Calvià
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights commemoration, organized, as every year, by Amnesty International of Calvià, has taken place this afternoon at Calvià Town Hall.
The ceremony, which was attended by members of Calvià Town Hall, Town Hall's staff and members of AI, began with the reading of the preamble to the Declaration, by the councillor for Democratic Memory, Rafel Sedano.
Next, the AI coordinator in Calvià, Lorenzo Bravo, made a statement to move on to the reading of the Universal Declaration articles by the attendees.
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, closed the event, in which there was also a musical performance by the Calvià musician Josep Oliver.
