The Government announces in Calvià that TIB public transport will be free
As of 1st January 2023, the entire TIB bus network will be free for users who use the intermodal card. In this way, the Government extends the free bus network, which in recent months has offered discounts of up to 70% on all trips.
This was announced this Wednesday in Calvià by the regional president, Francina Armengol, accompanied by the Regional Minister for Mobility and Housing, Josep Marí, at a press conference to present the news on the free intercity bus on the Islands, which was attended by Nati Francés, accidental mayoress of Calvià, and the deputy mayor for Infrastructures, Juan Recasens.
In order to access the free service, it is necessary to obtain the public transport intermodal card, which can be obtained in Calvià. The offices are located at:
Santa Ponça Sports Centre (Calle Riu Sil, no. 4)
Magaluf Sports Center (Avenida de las Palmeras, no. 23 or calle Miño, no. 1-21)
