ASNIMO AND ASPANOB RECEIVE FROM THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL THE COLLECTION OF THE 2022 NEULA PARC, WHICH EVERY YEAR IS DESTINED FOR SOLIDARITY PURPOSES
Each one of the social entities has been given 2,637 euros
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, and the deputy mayor for Social Cohesion and Equality, Nati Francés, have handed over the money from the collection made by the Calvià Town Hall in the Neula Parc this last Christmas to the entities ASNIMO and ASPANOB. The total collection was 5,275 euros, so 2,637.50 euros have been delivered to each entity.
The Calvià Christmas playground is a space for all the family with a wide variety of children's games and activities, workshops, handycrafts, musical performances, storytelling, games, attractions, and activities adapted for children with physical or sensory disabilities.
The interior space is aimed at boys and girls from 6 to 12 years old, and, outside, a heated marquee is installed, for children from 0 to 6 years old, in which, in addition to activities, there is a conciliation area to be able for breast and bottle feeding, or changing diapers.
The Neula Parc has a charitable character since, in each edition, what is collected goes to two social entities that this year have been ASNIMO and ASPANOB.
ASNIMO is a non-profit organization that works so that people with Down syndrome can develop their abilities to the fullest and enjoy the best possible quality of life during all stages of their lives. It is also specialized in caring for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The Association of Parents of Children with Cancer of the Balearic Islands (ASPANOB) aims to improve the quality of life of children with cancer in the Balearic Islands, providing numerous services aimed at meeting the needs of families who have to face to this complicated situation.
