Senior citizens home

The residence offers the following services, meaning that all its residents can enjoy a full, active and comfortable service:

 

• Accomodation and upkeep.
• Meal Service, with healthy, balanced and varied diets that adapt to the needs of each person.
• Assistance with the daily activities of every day life.
• Health attention, medical, physiotherapy, nurses and assistant nurses.
• Social and psychological attention
• Social-cultural encouragement.
• Cleaning, laundry and bed linen. Punctual y daily.
• Hairdressers and chiropodist.

The "Llar de Majors" promotes the participation by means of social-cultural dynamizing projects and voluntary workers, the Residents Board and the Family's Association and friends of the centre.

The users of the municipal places receive subsidies alloted for this purpose from Calvia Town Hall, according to their needs. The public price is in the Regulating Bylaw for the Services of the Senior Citizens Residence in Calvià. 

 

The places are granted by way of the Admission Commission ("Comisión de Admisión de Seguimiento"", aproved at the council meeting of Calvia Town Hall on 25  October 1994, which establishes the priority of the admissions.
