CALVIÀ TAXI DRIVERS CAN WEAR RED IN SUPPORT OF THE SPANISH TEAM
Within the framework of the Euro Cup 2024 celebration, Calvià Town Hall will allow taxi drivers who want to cheer on Spain to wear these days, during work hours, the red T-shirt or the official one of the National Team led by Luis de la Fuente, thus replacing the usual uniform.
Starting this Tuesday and until Sunday - when the Euro Cup final is held in Berlin - drivers of autotaxi vehicles and those dedicated to the adapted service (euro-taxi) are authorised to voluntarily opt for the Spanish National Team T-shirt or any other red garment, "as a show of support for the Spanish team." In any case, it is not permitted to display explicit advertising or inappropriate drawings on alternative clothing, with the exception of the official Spanish National Team logo. Furthermore, the use of caps, hats or other clothing that covers the head is not authorised during the service.
The adoption of alternative clothing is completely voluntary, allowing each taxi driver to decide whether or not to participate in this initiative. The competent authorities will supervise compliance with the provisions established in this authorisation to ensure that the respect and professional image of the autotaxi service in Calvià is maintained.
