Calvià hosts the Mallorca figure skating championship (beginners and aptitude)
The Mallorca figure skating championship took place this weekend, on 9th and 10th July, in the beginners and aptitude category, organised by the Balearic Figure Skating Federation and the Calvià Figure Skating Club, with the collaboration of Calvià Town Hall.
This is the first championship to be held in this municipal space, which a few years ago received a significant investment of more than 400.000 euros for the installation of the rinks' covering where the Club de Calvià trains.
The medals and trophies delivery ceremony was attended by mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal; the deputy mayor for Sports, Eva Serra, and the councillor for Santa Ponça, Nati Francés, as well as the president of the Balearic Skating Federation.
