Hearing with the British Consul
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, welcomed this midday the British consul Lloyd Milen who introduced the minister counselor of the United Kingdom Embassy, Sarah Cowley.
During the meeting, which was also attended by the deputy mayor for Police, Nati Francés, and the director general for Tourism and Coastline, Xavier Pascuet, they analysed the evolution of the season in the municipality as well as aspects related to British residents in Calvià regarding Brexit.
Calvià Town Hall and British Consulate maintain fluid and permanent contact. Both, consul and minister counselor have been interested in aspects such as the change in the tourist model or the season's lengthening.
