INFORMATIVE MEETING ON 2022 GRANTS

This Thursday, the Citizen Participation team had a meeting with the Calvià neighbourhood associations to explain the grats that will be launched this year. The Mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal and the Deputy Mayor for Youth and Participation, Marga Plomer, thanked the associations for the key work carried out for the municipality, hoping that this year will bring back a future as similar as possible to a normal situation.

Marga Plomer, who has appeared accompanied by the general director of Youth and Participation, Xavier Vidal, has explained the two grant lines allocated for this year.

On the one hand, a call for current expenses, similar to the one launched in 2021, which will be open to all entities in the municipality, and which will cover expenses such as civil liability insurance, office supplies, expenses for the maintenance of bank accounts, tablets or computer devices, amongst others, with a maximum of 400 euros.

The second call will be to subsidise the revitalisation of the areas, such as the Summer festivities, the 'nit de les ànimes', the 'verges', the Three Kings parade, the festivals of Sant Antoni and Sant Sebastià or Sa Rua. This line, which will be directed exclusively to neighbourhood associations, has as a novelty that the entities will have to present one single project for the whole year.

The terms and conditions of the two calls will be published soon in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB).
